Privacy notice

ESInsight is a pre-launch service currently operated by an individual in the United Kingdom. No company or other operating entity has yet been established, and no paid service agreements or payments are currently accepted.

Privacy questions and requests can be sent to hello@esinsight.info. This notice will be updated with the operator's full legal identity and business address before paid services become available.

We may collect:

• your name, work email address, company and message when you contact us;
• the plan or access level in which you register an interest;
• API access and account-administration information;
• technical request information such as timestamps, IP addresses, browser details and security logs produced by our hosting providers; and
• job titles submitted to the classification API.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information or include names and other unnecessary identifiers in job-title fields.

We use information to:

• respond to enquiries and access requests;
• provide, secure and troubleshoot the website and API;
• manage free-trial access and planned-service enquiries; and
• meet legal obligations and protect against misuse.

We rely on legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and on taking steps at your request before a possible future contract. Where the law requires consent, we will ask for it separately.

Titles submitted for classification are processed in memory and are not retained by the classification application after the response is returned. We do not use submitted titles to train a model. Hosting and security providers may process limited request metadata in operational logs.

We use suppliers to operate the service, including Web3Forms for contact-form delivery, website and API hosting providers, email services, and Google Fonts. They process information only as needed to provide their services.

Some suppliers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where UK data protection law requires it, we use recognised safeguards for those transfers.

Contact and access-request records are normally retained for up to 12 months after the last interaction. Security logs are retained only for the period reasonably needed to protect and diagnose the service. We may retain information for longer where required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. Essential storage may be used where necessary to provide or secure the service. If non-essential cookies or similar technologies are introduced, we will provide information and request consent before using them where required.

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your information, restrict its use, receive a portable copy, or object to processing. Contact hello@esinsight.info to exercise a right.

You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

We may update this notice as the service and its operating arrangements develop. Material changes will be published here with a revised effective date.
